About the Course
Kiwi's Custom Guns is an approved CCW Training Provider for the following issuing agencies: Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office, San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office, Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office, Calaveras County Sheriff's Office, Merced County Sheriff's Office, and Turlock Police Department

Do you already have a CCW Permit issued in Stanislaus, Tuolumne, Calaveras, or Merced County and would like to add a gun to your permit? In order to do this, you must pass a shooting qualification for each handgun you wish to be added to your existing permit.Â
You may add between 1-5 firearms during this CCW modification shooting qualification, depending on your issuing agency.

CCW MODIFICATION MANDATORY EQUIPMENT LIST:
Handguns you wish to be added to your existing permit
15 rounds of ammunition for each handgun you intend to qualify with.
Factory loaded ammunition ONLY. No Reloads.
Quality holster that attaches to the belt. IWB-Inside the Waistband or OWB-Outside the Waistband (Kydex preferred).
***No SERPA, Vanguard (Bikini), or shoulder type holsters allowed. ***
Magazine pouch
Sturdy belt capable of supporting a handgun and magazine pouch
Wrap around eye protection and hearing protection.

THIS IS A QUALIFICATION. THIS IS NOT TRAINING CLASS. IT IS A FORMAL TEST REQUIRED BY THE STATE AND COUNTY/CITY AND WE ARE THE PROCTORS. WE ARE TESTING BASED ON THE REQUIREMENTS WE ARE GIVEN. PLEASE UNDERSTAND WE WILL NOT BE DOING ANY TRAINING DURING QUALIFICATION ON THE RANGE.

Please wear clothing suitable for training in a range environment. Open-toed shoes, flip-flops, and tank tops are not allowed. Pants/leggings and a baseball hat are highly recommended.Â

Your Instructor
Scott Criswell
Scott is currently an active-duty police sergeant and oversees firearms training for his department. Scott began his law enforcement career in 2000 and has held assignments in Patrol, Street Gang Suppression, FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, Community Oriented Policing, Street Level Drug & Gang Detective (including plain clothes operations), 11-year SWAT Team member (Entry and Sniper/Observer with two agencies), Firearms instructor (Both Academy and Department), and Field Training Officer.
Scott holds instructor certifications in both private sector and CA POST courses in handgun, carbine, shotgun, long rifle, red dot handgun (RDS), and low light firearms employment. He has also certified in many other operator level firearm and tactical courses presented by private sector companies as well as law enforcement presenters including but not limited to: Vehicle Close Quarters Battle (VCQB), Low Light Operator, Tactical Carbine, and Tactical Handgun.
